About This Opportunity 🚀
We are collaborating with a renowned made-to-order fast casual restaurant chain in the U.S. to hire bilingual (English/Spanish) Employee Service Center Specialists. You will respond to employee inquiries related to employment, onboarding, benefits, and company policies. This position is non-supervisory and fully remote.
Responsibilities 📞
- Engage with employees via phone calls to resolve HR inquiries of low to moderate complexity accurately and consistently.
- Act as the first point of contact for employment-related questions.
- Assist employees in navigating self-service HR functions to initiate transactions.
- Educate callers on HR policies and procedures, including payroll, compliance, onboarding, benefits, and more.
- Listen actively, gather pertinent information, and involve specialists when necessary.
- Navigate multiple web-based systems efficiently while maintaining confidentiality and data security.
- Meet productivity and performance expectations.
- Adhere to scheduled hours and channel availability, being punctual and present.
- Demonstrate excellent written (typing) and verbal communication skills in both English and Spanish, which will be evaluated during screening.
- Develop a solid understanding of common questions and resolutions.
- Collaborate with team members to encourage, resolve issues, and share insights and trends.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Compass or the client.
Minimum Requirements & Characteristics 🎯
- High school diploma required; 2-4 year college degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of contact center experience focused on customer problem-solving related to payroll, benefits, onboarding, and policies preferred.
- Proficiency in navigating multiple web systems with accurate data entry.
- Ability to quickly learn and retain a wide range of information.
- Responsive to internal communications; remote work experience is a plus.
- Self-reliant with an inquisitive mindset.
- Keen problem solver with good judgment and adaptability.
- Professionally express opinions and work humbly, open to coaching.
- Contribute positively to the team culture aligned with Compass values.
Availability ⏰
Full-time shifts are available within the hours of 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM EST, six days a week totaling 48 hours. This remote position requires a reliable high-speed internet connection, a quiet workspace, and a working headset. Compass is headquartered in Columbus, OH, USA.
Physical & Technology Requirements 🖥️🎧
Physical: Ability to see, talk, hear, and communicate effectively; operate a computer and lift up to 15 lbs.; work sitting or standing for prolonged periods.
Technology: Licensed Windows PC with serial number; minimum 32MBPS wired internet; webcam; microphone-equipped headset (speakers not permitted on calls); processor Intel Core i5 / Apple M1 or higher; at least 8GB RAM (16GB recommended); Windows 10 or 11; installation of required third-party software and DUO Mobile for multi-factor authentication.
