Role Overview
As a Bilingual Dental Inbound Contacts Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our members, assisting with benefit questions, resolving concerns, and guiding them through next steps—all remotely. You will report to the Inbound Contacts Supervisor and become a vital member of the Consumer Contacts team. Every interaction is an opportunity to solve problems, reduce frustration, and build trust.
Responsibilities
- Handle 40+ inbound calls daily in a fast-paced call center environment, assisting members and providers in both English and Spanish.
- Address a variety of needs including benefit inquiries, service issues, and general questions.
- Escalate unresolved grievances and pending customer concerns appropriately.
- Document all interactions, actions, and outcomes accurately in internal systems.
- Resolve routine to moderately complex issues following established workflows and guidelines.
- Identify issues requiring escalation and ensure smooth handoff to the right teams.
- Maintain high standards for quality, productivity, and customer experience.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish—speaking, reading, and writing fluently
- Reside in the Central or Eastern Time Zone
- Customer service mindset with a genuine desire to help others
- Experience documenting customer issues in detail
- Ability to assess support requests across multiple systems and escalate as needed
- Excellent at interpreting and responding to customer requests
- Proven success in performance-driven environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- Previous inbound call center or related customer service experience
- Healthcare industry experience
Training & Work Schedule
Training Schedule 📅
Starts on June 29, 2026. Training runs for five to six weeks, from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. During training, your camera must be ON, and you should be in a quiet environment.
Post-Training Work Schedule 🕒
Once training is complete, you will be assigned an 8-hour shift between 8:00 AM and 9:00 PM Eastern, Monday through Friday. Shift bidding occurs periodically, based on performance and tenure. The first 180 days serve as an appraised period, requiring perfect attendance during classroom and nesting phases. Attendance policies are strict; time off is not permitted during the first 90 days and is discouraged during the 180-day period. You must remain in this role for at least 12 months before applying for other opportunities outside of the SSO Specialty Dental team.

- Internet speed of at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload recommended.
- Wired connection preferred; wireless connection acceptable if approved.
- Employees in California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will receive a bi-weekly internet stipend.
- Humana provides appropriate telephone equipment for the role.
- Work in a dedicated, interruption-free space to protect patient privacy.
Travel 🧳
Occasional travel to Humana offices for training or meetings may be required, despite the role being primarily remote.

- Pay Range: $39,000 - $49,400 per year (may vary based on location and experience)
