Position Overview

As a vital team member at Store #5040, located at 1820 Evelyn Byrd Ave, Harrisonburg, VA 22801, you will contribute to achieving sales targets while enhancing the overall customer experience through exceptional service and product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities 🛠️

• Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction through outstanding sales support.
• Assist customers both in person and over the phone by identifying needs and recommending suitable products and services.
• Build trusting relationships with both wholesale and retail clients.
• Accurately process sales transactions in line with company policies.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis.
• Maintain detailed work order files and product formulas.
• Retrieve products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed.
• Perform tinting and mixing tailored to customer specifications.
• Stock shelves and create appealing displays to attract customers.
• Keep store equipment clean and well-maintained.
• Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and deliveries when required.
• Organize and restock assigned areas to ensure availability and appeal.
• Stay informed about product options and updates.
• Follow inventory control procedures diligently.
• Suggest improvements to boost sales performance.

Minimum Requirements ✅

• At least 18 years of age.
• Authorized to work in the country without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, with effective communication skills.
• Possession of a valid, unrestricted Driver's License.
• Ability to frequently lift and carry up to 50 lbs, and occasionally up to 70 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• If currently employed at Sherwin-Williams, must have a performance rating of at least 'meets expectations' on the last appraisal.
• Completed all HR Cloud eLearning courses relevant to your current employment.

Preferred Qualifications 🎯

• High School diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service, retail, or delivery roles.
• Previous experience in selling paint and related products.
• Familiarity with tinting and mixing equipment operational procedures.
