Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese/English) 🌍

About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding verbal communicator, active listener, and natural problem solver to join our team until September 2025. If you enjoy engaging with people, are enthusiastic about supporting families, and are fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English, we'd love to hear from you!
This is a 3-month contract position from July to September 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to Embark customers and prospects 📞
- Identify customer needs and recommend the best solutions or guidance in their best interests!
- Serve as a subject matter expert for RESP, assisting customers with related services via phone, email, and chat, including contributions, payments, and account inquiries 💬
- Encourage and guide customers to use digital and self-serve options; refer to licensed specialists or sales teams when appropriate 🤝
- Take ownership of challenges, identify gaps, and find opportunities to keep customers on track 🚀
- Seek ways to enhance or improve the overall customer experience 🌟
- Organize customer information ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality 🔒
- Team Player & Leader: Support teammates, cover absences, and lead on key projects; broader responsibilities may be assigned
- Support customers contacting us through our center from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time). Note: Work hours may vary weekly.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- At least one year of experience providing excellent customer service or working in customer support 🏆
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities, with clear expression and attentive listening 💬
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, with strong record-keeping skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; thrives on multitasking in a fast-paced environment ⏱️
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 🧠
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
- Flexibility to meet the changing needs of the Customer Success Centre 🔄
- Bilingual requirement: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English
