Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese/English) 🌟
Join our team as a Customer Success Representative fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) and English, helping families achieve their children's education goals through exceptional support and innovative solutions.
About the Role
We are seeking an outstanding verbal communicator, active listener, and natural problem solver to join us until September 2025. This is a 3-month contract position from July to September 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs. Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experience to Embark customers and prospects 😊.
- Identify customer needs and provide optimal solutions or guidance in their best interests.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for RESP, assisting with related services via phone, email, and online chat—including contributions, payments, and account inquiries.
- Guide customers to leverage digital and self-serve options, and refer them to licensed specialists or sales teams when appropriate.
- Take ownership of challenges as they arise, identifying gaps and opportunities to keep customers on track.
- Seek ways to enhance and improve the overall customer experience.
- Organize customer information to ensure accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
- Act as both a team player and a leader: support teammates, cover for absences, and lead important projects.
- Support customers contacting us through our center, Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time).
- Work schedule may vary weekly in days, hours, and shifts.
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- At least one year of experience in customer service or support roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and focus on customer needs.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in tracking systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, thriving in a fast-paced environment with multitasking capabilities.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of the Customer Success Centre.
- Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English.
