EMBARK Is Hiring A Bilingual Customer Success Representative
Embark Student Corp. is seeking a Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese/English) to join our team and help transform the future of Canadian students. Position Overview
We are looking for an outstanding verbal communicator, active listener, and natural problem solver to support our customers until September 2025. This role involves engaging with families to help them meet their children's educational goals with a focus on RESP services. The position is a 3-month contract from July to September 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences to Embark customers and prospects 😊
- Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions or guidance in their best interests
- Act as a subject matter expert for RESP, assisting with contributions, payments, and account inquiries via phone, email, and online chat
- Encourage and guide customers to utilize digital and self-serve options; coordinate referrals to licensed specialists or sales teams when appropriate
- Take ownership of challenges, identify gaps, and seize opportunities to keep customers on track
- Seek ways to enhance overall customer satisfaction and experience
- Organize and maintain customer information ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality
- Act as both a team player and leader: support teammates, fill in during absences, and lead important projects as needed
- Support customers contacting us through our customer service center, operating primarily from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time)
- Adapt work schedule as needed — hours, days, and shifts may vary
Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise
- Minimum of one year of experience providing excellent customer service or working in a customer support environment
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate and actively listen to customers
- Well-organized and detail-oriented; proficient in record-keeping and customer tracking systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills, thriving in fast-paced, multi-tasking environments
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365
- Flexible to meet the needs of the Customer Success Centre
- Language requirement: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English
