Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese/English) 🌟

Position Overview
We are seeking an outstanding verbal communicator, active listener, and natural problem solver to join us until September 2025. The ideal candidate enjoys engaging with people, is enthusiastic about assisting families, and is fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English.
This is a 3-month contract position from July to September 2026, with the opportunity for extension based on business needs.
Responsibilities 🎯
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences to Embark customers and prospects.
- Identify customer needs and provide the best solutions or guidance in their best interests.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for RESP, assisting customer requests related to RESP services via phone, email, and online chat. This includes contributions, payments, and general account inquiries.
- Leverage digital tools and self-serve options, refer customers to licensed specialists in other departments (e.g., sales teams), and create seamless experiences.
- Take ownership of challenges as they arise, pinpoint gaps and opportunities to keep customers on track.
- Seek continuous improvement by enhancing the overall customer experience.
- Maintain organization of customer information ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
- Collaborate as both a team player and leader:
- Support teammates and fill in for absences as needed.
- Lead on important projects when required.
- Support customers contacting us through our center, Monday to Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Fridays from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time). Work schedules may vary weekly in days, hours, and shifts.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise 🧠
- At least one year of experience in customer service or support roles.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to listen actively and express ideas clearly.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of efficient record-keeping using tracking systems.
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
- Flexible and adaptable to the needs of the Customer Success Center.
- Bilingual requirement: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English.
