Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese / English) 🌟

Join a mission-driven team dedicated to helping Canadian families achieve their education goals through innovative fintech solutions. We're seeking a passionate communicator fluent in Chinese and English to deliver exceptional support until September 2025.

Position Overview

This is a 3-month contract position running from July to September 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs. Ideal candidates are active listeners, natural problem solvers, and enthusiastic about making a difference in people's lives.

Responsibilities 🚀

  • Deliver outstanding customer experiences to Embark clients and prospects.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend the best solutions or guidance in their best interests.
  • Become a subject matter expert on RESPs, assisting customers with related services via phone, email, and online chat, including contributions, payments, and account inquiries.
  • Promote digital and self-serve options, referring customers to licensed specialists or sales teams as needed to create seamless experiences.
  • Take ownership of challenges, identifying gaps and opportunities to keep customers on track.
  • Enhance customer experience by suggesting improvements and solutions.
  • Ensure accurate, complete, and confidential management of customer information.
  • Act as both a team player and leader: support teammates, fill in for absences, and lead key projects as needed.
  • Support customer interactions through our contact centre, operating Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time). Work schedules may vary weekly.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Expertise 📋

  • At least one year of customer service experience or work in a customer support department.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly express needs and attentive listening.
  • Strong organization and detail-oriented skills for accurate record-keeping.
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Flexibility to adapt and meet the needs of the Customer Success Centre.
  • Bilingual fluency in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English.
