EMBARK Is Hiring A Bilingual Customer Success Representative

Join Embark as a Bilingual Customer Success Representative (Mandarin or Cantonese/English) and play a vital role in helping families achieve their education goals through exceptional customer support and innovative fintech solutions. 🌟

Position Overview

We are seeking an outstanding communicator, active listener, and natural problem solver to join our team until September 2025. If you enjoy engaging with people, are enthusiastic about making a difference, and are fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English, this is the perfect opportunity for you.

Note: This is a 3-month contract position from July to September 2026, with potential for extension based on business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences to Embark customers and prospects.
  • Identify customer needs and provide the best solutions or guidance in their best interests.
  • Become a subject matter expert for RESP-related services, assisting with contributions, payments, and account inquiries via phone, email, and online chat.
  • Guide customers to leverage digital and self-serve options, referring to licensed specialists or sales teams as needed to create seamless experiences.
  • Take ownership of challenges as they arise, identifying gaps and opportunities to keep customers on track.
  • Enhance the customer experience by continuously seeking improvements.
  • Organize customer information ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  • Act as both a team player and leader—supporting teammates, filling in for absences, and leading important projects.
  • Support customers contacting us from Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Eastern Time). Work hours may vary weekly.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • At least one year of experience in customer service or support.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of clear expression and attentive listening.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail, with effective record-keeping abilities.
  • Outstanding time management and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Flexible to meet the dynamic needs of the Customer Success Centre.
  • Language proficiency: Fluent in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) & English.
