Position: Bilingual Customer Success Agent (English & Spanish)
Humana’s MarketPoint organization is seeking 5 talented bilingual agents to join our remote Customer Success Team. In this role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner for our members, helping them navigate healthcare options and solutions.
Important: Applicants must hold a current and valid Health Care Sales License in their state of residence—please ensure you meet this requirement to qualify.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate professionalism and empathy during all inbound and outbound interactions with members and prospects 🤝
- Actively listen to identify members’ needs and suggest suitable plans, resources, and enrollments
- Clearly explain plan benefits, claims, and coverage details in a simplified manner
- Uncover broader needs by asking thoughtful questions related to social determinants of health
- Support retention and engagement by guiding members through complex healthcare decisions
Required Qualifications
Use your skills to make an impactful difference:
- Active resident Health Insurance Sales License (per your state's Department of Insurance)
- Bilingual in English and Spanish: must read, write, and speak fluently without assistance
- Flexibility: willing to work varying schedules, including nights, weekends, and overtime
- Experience: At least 2 years working virtually, navigating multiple digital systems, and in Medicare customer service or sales
- Understanding Medicare: ability to explain benefits and cater to Medicare and dual-eligible members’ needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Previous call center experience
- Success in Medicare product sales or member retention roles
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems
- Additional language proficiency beyond English and Spanish
Additional Information
Work Schedule: Shifts between 7:00 am and 11:00 pm local time, including weekends during peak hours.
Training: Begins on day one and lasts 6 weeks, from 9:30 am to 7:00 pm EST — attendance is essential for success.
Language Testing: All associates must pass a language proficiency assessment (ILR test) if engaging with members in languages other than English.
Home Office & Internet Requirements
- Minimum download speed: 25 Mbps; upload speed: 10 Mbps (wireless or wired connection recommended)
- Satellite, cellular, or microwave connections require leadership approval
- Employees in CA, IL, MT, SD receive bi-weekly internet stipends
- Humana provides necessary telephone equipment
