About the Position

Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend suitable solutions. They are responsible for promptly resolving customer concerns, ensuring maximum satisfaction, and maintaining high standards of product quality and store appearance.

The core focus is to deliver exceptional customer service while consistently meeting sales targets. Please note that this position involves contact with customers—including minors—and access to payment methods, store merchandise, and personal information. Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service 😊
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by identifying their needs and recommending appropriate products and services 📞
• Build productive trust relationships with wholesale and retail customers 🤝
• Process sales transactions accurately, following policies and procedures 💵
• Achieve and exceed sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis 🎯
• Maintain accurate work order files and formulas 🗂️
• Pull products from the sales floor or warehouse as needed 🛒
• Tint and mix products to customer specifications 🎨
• Stock shelves and set up attractive displays 🏪
• Clean store equipment to uphold safety and cleanliness standards 🧼
• Load and unload delivery trucks 🚚
• Assist with deliveries when required 🚚
• Keep designated areas stocked and tidy 🧹
• Stay informed about product features and discuss options confidently 💡
• Follow inventory control procedures 📝
• Suggest innovative ways to boost sales 💡

Minimum Requirements ✅

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and communicate fluently in English and Spanish 🗣️
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License 🚗
• Physical ability to retrieve materials, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly and 70 lbs. occasionally, with or without accommodations 🏋️‍♂️
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed 🕒

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles 🏪
• Previous experience selling paint or related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
