Job Overview

The Customer Service Specialist collaborates closely with customers to identify their needs, answer product-related questions, and recommend suitable options. This role also involves achieving excellent customer service levels while consistently meeting sales targets.

Note: This role involves contact with customers, which may include minors, and access to cash, electronic equipment, personal information, and valuable store items. A review of criminal history is conducted to ensure safety and protect our business reputation.

Responsibilities 🚀

• Provide excellent sales service to ensure high customer satisfaction
• Assist customers in person and over the phone by assessing their needs and presenting appropriate products & services
• Build trust-based relationships with both wholesale and retail clients
• Process sales transactions accurately following policies and procedures
• Achieve sales goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Maintain detailed work order files and formulas
• Pull and prepare products from the sales floor or warehouse
• Perform tinting and mixing to meet customer specifications
• Stock shelves and arrange displays
• Clean store equipment
• Load and unload delivery trucks
• Assist with deliveries as needed
• Keep areas organized and well-stocked
• Stay informed about product offerings to discuss available options
• Follow inventory control procedures
• Suggest improvements to boost sales

Qualifications 📋

Minimum Requirements

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old
• Legally authorized to work in the country of employment without sponsorship
• Proficient in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
• Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. on occasion with or without reasonable accommodation
• Willingness to work scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends
• For internal applicants: meeting expectations rating on recent performance review and completed required HR eLearning courses

Preferred Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED
• At least one (1) year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service
• Experience selling paint and related products
• Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
