Position Overview

Customer Service Specialists collaborate closely with wholesale and retail customers to determine their needs, answer questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend optimal solutions. They also resolve customer concerns promptly, stay updated on product features, and uphold the high standards of our products and store presentation. The goal is to ensure maximum customer satisfaction while consistently meeting sales targets.

  • Store Location: Store #2912, 7201 Sandy Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC 27615
  • Position Type: Full-Time
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Starting Salary: $18.50/hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service 😊
  • Assist customers in person and over the phone by understanding their needs and recommending products 📞
  • Build trustful relationships with wholesale and retail clients 🤝
  • Accurately process sales transactions in line with policies 🧾
  • Meet sales goals consistently on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis 🎯
  • Maintain precise work order records and formulas 📂
  • Select and fetch products from sales floors or warehouses 🛒
  • Tint and mix products as per customer specifications 🎨
  • Stock shelves and set up attractive displays 🖼️
  • Clean and maintain store equipment 🧼
  • Assist with loading/unloading deliveries 🚚
  • Contribute to delivery efforts as needed 🚚
  • Maintain orderly, stocked, and presentable areas 🏪
  • Stay informed about products and discuss options confidently 📚
  • Follow inventory control procedures and suggest sales improvements 💡

Minimum Requirements ✅

  • Must be at least 18 years old 🔞
  • Legally authorized to work without sponsorship 📝
  • Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking) 🗣️
  • Proficient in Spanish (reading, writing, speaking) 🗣️
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License 🚗
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally with or without accommodation 🏋️‍♂️
  • Availability for all scheduled hours, including evenings and weekends 🕒
  • If internal, at least a "meets expectations" performance rating and completed required eLearning courses 🎓

Preferred Qualifications 🌟

  • High School diploma or GED 📜
  • At least 1 year of experience in delivery, retail, or customer service 🛍️
  • Experience selling paint and related products 🎨
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment ⚙️
