About the Role

Customer Service Specialists collaborate with wholesale and retail clients to identify their needs, answer product inquiries, and recommend the best solutions. They are dedicated to ensuring customer satisfaction, staying informed about product features, and maintaining high standards in both product quality and store presentation. The goal is to deliver outstanding customer service while achieving store sales objectives.

Note: The role involves contact with customers, including minors, and access to sensitive items and information. A criminal history review is part of the hiring process to ensure safety and uphold our reputation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service: Maximize satisfaction through sales support and product knowledge.
  • Assist customers: In-person and via phone by understanding needs and presenting suitable products and services.
  • Build trust: Foster productive relationships with both wholesale and retail clients.
  • Handle transactions: Process sales accurately following company policies.
  • Achieve sales goals: Meet or exceed targets monthly, quarterly, and yearly.
  • Manage stock and display: Stock shelves, set up displays, and maintain store cleanliness.
  • Product preparation: Tint and mix products as per customer specifications.
  • Operational tasks: Load/unload trucks, assist with deliveries, and maintain inventory control.
  • Maintain knowledge: Stay updated on product offerings and suggest sales improvements.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Legal authorization to work without sponsorship
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (reading, writing, speaking)
  • Valid, unrestricted Driver’s License
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 70 lbs. occasionally with or without accommodations
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • For internal applicants: meet performance expectations and complete required eLearning courses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • At least 1 year experience in delivery, retail, or customer service roles
  • Previous experience selling paint and related products
  • Experience operating tinting and mixing equipment
