About the Role

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll work closely with both wholesale and retail customers to understand their needs, answer queries about our products, and recommend suitable solutions. Your goal is to provide outstanding service, resolve customer concerns promptly, and support the store's sales goals while maintaining high standards of quality and visual presentation.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with customers in person and over the phone to determine needs and suggest products
• Processing sales transactions accurately
• Building trusting relationships with customers
• Maintaining stock, setting up displays, and ensuring store standards
• Assisting with deliveries and ensuring inventory control
• Mixing and tinting products as per customer specifications
• Contributing ideas to improve sales and customer experience

Work Environment & Legal Considerations

Handling contact with customers—including minors—and accessing cash, electronic equipment, and valuable store items necessitates a criminal history review to ensure safety and uphold our reputation. Selected candidates should be prepared to work across various store locations, and the role may involve supervised or unsupervised access to sensitive areas.

Job Duties & Minimum Requirements

• Ensure high customer satisfaction through excellent service
• Assist customers and process sales accurately
• Maintain store appearance and stock levels
• Operate tinting and mixing equipment as needed
• Unload and load delivery trucks and assist with deliveries
• Follow inventory procedures and suggest sales improvements

Minimum Qualifications ✅

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Eligible to work without sponsorship
• Fluent in English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted driver's license
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., with occasional lifts of 70 lbs.
• Willingness to work evenings/weekends
• Internal applicants: meet performance and training criteria

Preferred Qualifications ⭐

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year in retail or customer service
• Experience selling paint & related products or operating tinting equipment
