Remote Bilingual (French/English) Customer Service Representative

What You'll Do

  • Represent a diverse lineup of products and brands with expertise, positive energy, and a can-do spirit.
  • Handle customer requests via phone 📞, chat 💬, SMS, email, and social media, with a primary focus on phone interactions.
  • Respond to inquiries about orders, account status, products, and services, providing website navigation and troubleshooting support.
  • Take ownership of customer issues, exercising sound judgment to resolve problems effectively and exceed expectations.
  • Monitor emerging customer trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Attend ongoing training and team meetings to stay updated on products, services, and policies.
  • Achieve performance metrics including CSAT, average handle time, quality, and productivity.
  • Demonstrate social responsibility by practicing ethical interactions, embracing diversity, and supporting inclusion initiatives.

What You’ll Need

  • 1+ years of successful experience in customer service.
  • Bilingual proficiency in both English and French — fluent in reading and speaking.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Polite, friendly, and courteous demeanor.
  • Respectful, flexible, and open-minded approach to diverse individuals.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to ask effective questions, actively listen, and guide conversations to resolve issues.
  • Proactive in learning, open to coaching, and able to adapt to change.
  • Technologically proficient with a motivation to learn new skills.
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and capable of working independently in a performance-based environment.
  • Attention to detail for accurate documentation and quality standards.
  • Ability to pass background and employment reference checks where permissible.
  • Capacity for engaging in extended phone conversations during scheduled shifts.

Home Office Requirements

Since this is a remote position, candidates must have an ergonomically suitable home office setup, including:

  • Reliable internet connection 📶
  • Wired USB headset
  • Router and modem
  • Webcam
  • Computer system meeting VIPdesk Connect's policies and requirements.

Residency in AR, AZ, FL, GA, IN, KY, MD, NC, NM, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, or WI is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a fast-paced call center environment.
  • Experience with customer support ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, Talkdesk).
  • Previous remote work experience.
