📝 About the Role

We are seeking a Remote Bilingual French Customer Service Agent to support customers with auto insurance requirements. You will make outbound informational calls to address insurance coverage discrepancies, such as canceled policies, missing payments, or incomplete documentation. Note: This is not sales or collections; all calls are strictly informational for problem resolution.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Handle approximately 14 outbound calls per hour; position is 100% phone-based
  • Contact customers to resolve insurance-related issues
  • Verify insurance details directly with insurance agents (coverage limits, deductibles)
  • Upload and document information accurately within internal systems
  • Leave client-approved scripted voicemails when insurance agents are unavailable
  • Ensure all insurance requirements are met timely and professionally

🎓 Training Program

  • Duration: First 3 weeks
  • Schedule: 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Includes classroom instruction, job shadowing, and monitored calls
  • A performance assessment at week three with an 80% passing score required to advance
  • One additional week for reassessment if needed; failure results in termination

✅ Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Bilingual in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Ability to type 30 WPM
  • 1+ year of customer service experience (retail, call center, office, data entry, restaurant roles)
  • Comfortable being on the phone throughout the workday
  • Ability to meet performance expectations (call volume, quality, accuracy)
  • Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset
