Bilingual Customer Service Representative – Phones (Mom & Baby) 🌟

Join an empathetic team dedicated to caring for moms and babies, with a position that offers both on-site and remote work options after training.

Position Details 📝

  • Location: On-site at Medela in McHenry, IL, with potential remote work after training
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
  • Starting Pay: $18 per hour

Your Ideal Experience & Qualities 🌟

  • Customer service professional with experience resolving issues and troubleshooting over the phone in English and Spanish
  • Warm, professional communication style
  • Minimum of one year's call center experience
  • Comfortable with call quotas and meeting performance metrics
  • Accurate record-keeping in CRM software
  • Ability to balance call quality with call quantity

Education & Critical Skills 📚

  • At least one year of customer service experience preferred, measured by metrics
  • Proficient in reading, writing, understanding, and communicating in English and French/Spanish
  • Strong multitasking and computer navigation skills
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with troubleshooting skills
  • Team-oriented and flexible mindset
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Capable of managing conflicting priorities
  • Experience with global objectives and international customer interactions

Main Responsibilities 🎯

  • Resolve customer issues professionally over the phone following company policies
  • Participate in ongoing system improvements to enhance service quality
  • Handle calls promptly, responsibly, and accurately, prioritizing customer interests
  • Conduct detailed product resolutions based on warranty guidelines
  • Document interactions and report suggestions or complaints, including injuries
  • Maintain and update customer records in CRM software
  • Investigate and resolve product and return inquiries
  • Achieve departmental metrics routinely
  • Research order statuses and fulfillment requests
  • Support problem-solving efforts to achieve first call resolution
  • Represent Medela professionally, adhering to policies and avoiding misinformation
  • Adhere to attendance standards and comply with all relevant laws and company policies
  • Interact effectively with employees at all levels
  • Perform all duties reliably and as assigned
  • Travel as required to meet business and customer needs
  • Communicate fluently in English, with application of logical thinking to solve problems
