A Day in the Life: Bilingual Customer Service Representative
This role involves direct interaction with patients, assessing needs, prioritizing inquiries, and directing them to the right resources. You'll collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive information about our Patient Services offerings.
- 🗣️ First Point of Contact: Evaluate call purposes, prioritize, and triage calls effectively. Explain Patient Services initiatives to customers when suitable.
- 📝 Enrollment & Follow-up: Enroll new patients, record activities in our database, and follow up to ensure their needs are met—contacting physicians, pharmacies, and external partners.
- 🔍 Special Projects: Complete various assigned projects as required.
Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in Specialty Pharmacy or Customer Service
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, web applications, and keyboard skills
- Experience handling high-pressure, time-sensitive situations, demonstrating problem-solving, decision-making, and excellent judgment
- Strong multi-tasking and time management capabilities
- Dependability and a solid work ethic
- Ability to accept feedback and coaching for continuous improvement
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Preferred Experience
- Experience with CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Background in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries
- Understanding of challenges faced by patients with medical conditions
