Customer Service Representative – Banking
Join our team as a Customer Service Representative! This role involves providing exceptional service to bank customers via phone, email, or fax, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. The position offers flexible shifts and opportunities for growth within a supportive environment. 💼📞
Work Schedule
- Monday – Friday: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
- Saturday: 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality customer service: Answer inbound calls regarding inquiries about Checking/Savings accounts, Online Banking, New Accounts, check orders, and Bankcard requests.
- Account Maintenance: Perform updates and match products to customer needs.
- Customer Needs Analysis: Proactively assess callers’ requirements for tailored solutions.
- Use Standard Protocols: Handle calls using scripts and procedures, knowing when to adapt for complex issues.
- System Navigation: Utilize computerized systems to address and resolve customer concerns.
- Compliance: Follow all applicable laws and regulations, including Atlantic Union Bankshares’ BSA/AML policies.
- Additional Duties: Other tasks as assigned to support team and operational goals.
Organizational Relationship
This role reports directly to a Customer Contact Center Supervisor.
Qualifications & Skills
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Fluent Spanish skills may be required as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with analytical thinking skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills via phone and email
- Highly organized with an ability to multitask effectively
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality
- Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Willingness to work weekend hours on a rotating basis
