Join Our Team as a Credit Analyst! ๐๐ผ
Location: Anywhere within the USA (PST time zone only)
Reports To: Underwriting Manager
Schedule: 4 days a week, 10 hours a day with flexible hours!
Saturday and Monday: 1pm - 11:30pm EST
The other days will be determined by management.
Compensation: $27.38/hr plus quarterly bonuses! ๐
About Our Fantastic Underwriting Department
Voted and certified as a "Great Place to Work" for five consecutive years, First Help Financial is expanding our Underwriting team to support our remarkable growth! As a Credit Analyst, you'll play a key role in managing application relationships, assessing risk, and helping us meet our origination goals remotely from anywhere in the U.S.
Key Responsibilities
- Make timely and accurate credit decisions in line with fair lending, credit, and collateral guidelines.
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with dealer partners.
- Collaborate with the Outside Sales team to improve application flow, look-to-book ratio, and credit quality.
- Negotiate with dealers to secure the best terms for FHF while ensuring dealer satisfaction.
- Follow up on deals, capture new business, and solicit additional opportunities from dealers.
- Conduct preliminary credit interviews with prospective clients to verify critical information.
- Perform administrative, clerical, or customer service duties as needed.
- Contribute to any other relevant projects.
Qualifications & Skills
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required.
- Proven career stability.
- At least 1 year of financial or banking experience.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish or Portuguese.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask independently.
- Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
