About the Role 📣
We are seeking a bilingual Spanish Copywriter to shape and translate Zenni’s brand voice across Spanish-language channels. This role extends beyond mere translation — you’ll ensure our brand resonates authentically with Spanish-speaking customers in North America by localizing content with cultural nuance and strategic purpose.
Reporting to the VP, Brand, you'll work closely with the English-language creative and copy teams to adapt marketing, e-commerce, and UX content for a Spanish-speaking audience. This role demands creativity, meticulous attention to detail, and a solid grasp of linguistic and cultural differences in consumer communication.
Responsibilities 🎯
- Translate, transcreate, and localize English marketing and UX copy into North American Spanish across all digital platforms—including email, website, social media, paid media, product pages, and app messaging.
- Collaborate with the English Creative team to ensure tone, voice, and brand consistency in all Spanish communications.
- Partner with product marketing, design, copywriting, UX, and legal teams to guarantee Spanish content is accurate, clear, and aligned with business goals.
- Provide linguistic and cultural insights to enhance the customer experience for Spanish-speaking users.
- Adapt campaign messaging and creative ideas for cultural relevance in diverse Spanish-speaking communities within the U.S.
- Proofread and QA translated content for accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand style standards.
- Contribute to the development of a Spanish-language style guide and glossary, collaborating with stakeholders.
- Stay current with cultural trends, regionalisms, and evolving language preferences in the U.S. Latino market.
Basic Qualifications ✅
- 5+ years experience in writing or localizing copy for the U.S. Hispanic audience
- Native or near-native fluency in Spanish (North American preferred) and English
- Proven ability to transcreate brand messaging from English to Spanish
- Strong bilingual writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Experience with e-commerce, UX writing, and marketing platforms (landing pages, promotional assets, CRM)
- Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications 🌟
- Experience writing for lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands
- Familiarity with localization tools like translation memory systems, Smartling, or JIRA

Compensation 💸
This is a contract position estimated to last 12 to 16 weeks, with an hourly rate ranging from $40 - $60/hr. Final offers depend on skills, experience, location, market conditions, and organizational needs. The company reserves the right to update the salary range as needed.
