Position: Contractor Therapist

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19134 & 19133 Area

Type: Contract

• Bilingual Required: Spanish Speaking
• Licensure Supervision: Available

Rate: Starting at $41.00/hr

Schedule: Available Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM, Saturday 8AM-5PM
Flexible hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote

📝 Job Summary

The Contractor Therapist conducts comprehensive assessments of individuals (children or adults), including those with co-occurring diagnoses. Together with the individual and their family, they develop recovery plans that incorporate goals, objectives, and interventions. When appropriate, these plans also address substance use, health, and wellness to support behavioral health improvements.

🤝 The Contractor

The therapist applies various psychotherapeutic approaches, including:

• Evidence-Based Practices (EBPs)
• Motivational Interviewing
• Other EBPs as needed

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings and assessments: Focus on recovery-oriented, bio-psycho-social evaluations, especially regarding substance use challenges when relevant.
• Provide therapy: Deliver individual and group sessions targeting addictive behaviors that may impact mental and behavioral health.
• Develop recovery plans: Collaborate with clients and families to set goals and interventions tailored to their needs.
• Support health & wellness: Address co-occurring issues and promote holistic well-being.
