Position Details

• Type: Contract
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19134 & 19133 Area
• Bilingual Requirement: Spanish Speaking 🇪🇸
• Licensure Supervision: Available

Compensation & Schedule

Rate: Starting at $41.00 per hour 💵

Working Hours: Contracted between Monday-Friday 8AM-8PM, Saturdays 8AM-5PM. Enjoy a hybrid schedule of 3 days in-office and 2 days remote.

Role Overview

The Contractor Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals (children or adults) who may have co-occurring diagnoses. Collaborating with clients and their families, the therapist develops personalized recovery plans. When appropriate, these plans include goals, objectives, and interventions aimed at addressing substance use, health & wellness, and behavioral health goals.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Conduct: Recovery-oriented screenings and bio-psycho-social assessments, considering substance use challenges when relevant.
• Provide: Individual and group therapy sessions targeting addictive behaviors that may complicate primary mental or behavioral health issues, utilizing evidenced-based practices (EBPs), including motivational interviewing.
• Utilize: A range of psychotherapeutic interventions tailored to client needs.
• Develop: Recovery plans in partnership with clients and their families to foster healing and resilience.
