Position Details

• Type: Contract
• Location: Philadelphia, PA 19134 & 19133 areas
• Bilingual Requirement: Spanish-speaking required 🗣️
• Licensure Supervision: Available

Compensation & Schedule 💰🗓️

Rate: Starting at $41.00 per hour

Work Hours: Contracted between Monday-Friday, 8AM-8PM, and Saturdays, 8AM-5PM. Enjoy a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

Role Summary

The Contractor Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments for individuals (children or adults) who may have co-occurring diagnoses. You will develop personalized recovery plans in collaboration with clients and their families, incorporating goals related to mental health, substance use, wellness, and behavioral health.

When appropriate, your recovery plans will include targeted goals, objectives, and interventions aimed at addressing substance use and promoting overall health and wellness, ultimately supporting the individual's recovery journey.

Qualifications & Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

• Conduct Recovery-Oriented Screenings & Assessments: Perform comprehensive bio-psycho-social evaluations focusing on mental, behavioral, and substance use challenges.
• Provide Therapeutic Interventions: Offer individual and group therapy sessions to address addictive behaviors alongside primary mental and behavioral health issues, utilizing evidence-based practices (EBPs), including motivational interviewing.
• Develop Recovery Plans: Collaborate with clients and families to create tailored plans that promote healing, resilience, and overall well-being.

Skills & Experience

• Experience in mental health and behavioral therapy, especially with co-occurring disorders
• Proficiency in motivational interviewing and other evidence-based practices
• Bilingual in Spanish required 🗣️
