The Mendoza Group is seeking a talented Bilingual Content Manager to lead content strategies and social media management for diverse clients, focusing on multicultural and Hispanic communities.

Job Description

Mendoza Group is not your typical ad agency. We are a global, diverse team of marketing professionals who craft communication strategies with a unique perspective. Our specialty is reaching hard-to-access Hispanic and multicultural communities with impactful messaging. We're now looking for a Bilingual Content Manager who thinks in Spanish as sharply as they execute in English.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing content strategies, creating engaging content, and managing social media community interactions across multiple clients and projects. You will supervise our agency’s channels and content needs, collaborating closely with Copywriters, Designers, Art Directors, and vendors under the supervision of the Creative Director. Strong strategic thinking and knowledge of current content trends are essential.

A Day in Your Life ✨

  • Strategic Content Creation: Develop and execute innovative strategies to boost clients' brand presence and increase audience engagement across various channels.
  • Bilingual Copywriting: Write persuasive, action-oriented copy in both English and Spanish. Create compelling stories, transcreate scripts or concepts, and plan content calendars for diverse platforms.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with creative, design, and strategy teams to ensure consistent messaging across all marketing channels.
  • Audiovisual Production Oversight: Lead and supervise production efforts including scripts, coordination with clients and vendors, casting, recording sessions, and quality feedback.
  • Content Scheduling & Monitoring: Use platforms like Sprout Social to schedule, distribute, monitor performance, and generate detailed reports.
  • Community Engagement: Develop Response Guidelines to foster proactive, timely community interactions and enhance brand loyalty.
  • Vendor Management: Maintain a database of audiovisual vendors including studios, voice talents, casting agents, and editors.
  • Trend Monitoring: Keep abreast of the latest content trends, platform-specific practices, and emerging formats.
  • Audience & Market Analysis: Analyze target audience behaviors and market trends to inform effective content strategies across social media, websites, emails, and blogs.
  • Process Management: Adhere to internal workflows such as organizing files, communication protocols, time tracking, and invoicing.

The Must-Have Skills for a Perfect Match ✅

  • Exceptional bilingual writing and editing skills with an eagle eye for proofreading in Spanish and English.
  • Over 3 years of experience in agency or similar Content Management roles.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and social media management tools like Sprout Social.
  • Graphic design and video editing skills are a plus.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in marketing, journalism, or communications.
  • Deep understanding of multicultural markets and diverse audiences, especially underserved communities.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with automated project management tools.
  • Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary ranges from $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience.
