Position Overview: Full-time Flex Houseparents 🤝
We are seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents. This life-changing role involves residing in on-campus student homes to provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for groups of approximately 8–13 students. Your efforts help foster a family-like environment that promotes academic, emotional, and social growth.
Responsibilities 📝
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Work Schedule & Transition 💼⏳
Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time while students are in school. Later, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same student group in their own home.

- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total of $168,000 per couple), including free housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more

Qualifications ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Legally married couples for at least two years
- Both spouses must be aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependent children residing in the home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Limited pet restrictions: only fish and one dog of approved breeds permitted
- Valid U.S. driver’s license with the ability to become certified to drive student vans
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism, serving as role models for students
