Role Overview: Full-time Flex Houseparents
We are seeking dedicated married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this influential career, couples live in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to approximately 8–13 students. Their efforts foster a structured, family-like setting that promotes students’ academic, emotional, and social growth, helping them reach their full potential. 🌟💖
Key Responsibilities
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel
- Overseeing household budgeting and reporting
Initial Support & Schedule
Upon hire, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a rotating schedule: nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents have unscheduled time as students are in school. 😊
Transition to Placed Houseparent
Eventually, houseparents may move into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their own dedicated home.
Benefits & Compensation
- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximate total compensation of $168,000 per couple, including free housing, meals on duty, utilities, and more)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Couples must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses aged 27 or older
- Maximum of three dependents living in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Allowed pet limitations: only fish and one breed-approved dog
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Ability to lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism as role models
