🌟 The Role: Full-Time Flex Houseparents

We are hiring married couples to serve as Flex Houseparents, a unique and life-changing career opportunity. In this role, couples live in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8–13 students. 🧸❤️

Responsibilities:

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship
• Managing household routines and student schedules
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
• Driving students to activities and planning engaging developmental and recreational activities
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel (proselytizing prohibited) ✝️
• Overseeing household budgeting and reporting

Initially, Flex Houseparents support various student homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty, followed by three days off. During weekdays, they have unscheduled time while students are in school. Over time, they transition into a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their designated home.

📝 Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth
• Married couples for at least two years, both spouses aged 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty 🚭🔫🍺
• Pet limitations: only fish and one approved breed dog allowed 🐟🐶
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to be certified to drive student vans
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and attending Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services ✝️
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and role modeling for students
