Position Overview 🎯
As a Full-time Flex Houseparent, you and your spouse will reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, supervision, and support to a group of approximately 8–13 students. Your role is crucial in creating a structured, family-like environment that helps students reach their full potential. Initially, houseparents support various homes on a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with opportunities to transition into a permanent, dedicated home setting.
Key Responsibilities 📝
- Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students
- Managing household routines and student schedules
- Administering medications and ensuring student wellness
- Driving students to activities and engaging in developmental and recreational activities
- Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel services
- Overseeing budgeting and household reporting
Benefits & Compensation 💰
- Salary: $44,768 per person (approximately $168,000 total per couple), including free housing, meals during duty days, utilities, and more

Qualifications & Requirements ✅
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Married couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be aged 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children living in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty
- Pet limitations: only fish and one approved breed of dog
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to obtain certification to drive student vans
- Ability to lead students in devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing is prohibited)
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
