Senior Care Therapy (SCT) is dedicated to providing in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric community across over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living facilities throughout NJ, NY, PA, and MD.

As a clinician-owned and operated organization, SCT focuses on patient-centered psychology services that enhance residents' mood, functioning, and overall quality of life. We collaborate closely with care facility staff to improve outcomes for residents and support their care teams. Plus, we handle all administrative tasks—billing, insurance, credentialing, and pre-certifications—so you can focus on delivering exceptional clinical care! 🎯

  • Customized work arrangements: Full-time or part-time positions aligned with your personal and professional goals
  • Work hours: 32-hour and 40-hour equivalent workweeks
  • Salary: $80,000 - $125,000 + uncapped FFS bonus opportunities

🔑 Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions within nursing or skilled care facilities
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline
  • Develop personalized, evidence-based treatment plans
  • Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to support patient well-being
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using our clinician-designed EHR system
  • Monitor patient progress and continually refine treatment approaches

🎓 Requirements

  • Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Active, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in your state
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish (oral and written)
  • Basic proficiency with technology, including Electronic Health Records (EHR)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to regulatory standards
  • Ability to provide in-person services at assigned facilities (up to 45 minutes away)
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, and move between rooms throughout the day
  • Full vaccination and booster may be required at some facilities

  • Experience in geriatric, long-term, or subacute care settings
  • Background treating anxiety, depression, or adjustment disorders
  • Additional experience in psychiatry or addictions is a plus
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
