Senior Care Therapy (SCT) is a clinician-owned organization dedicated to providing in-person psychotherapy to the geriatric community across NJ, NY, PA, and MD. We serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities.

Key Responsibilities 🧠
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy in skilled nursing and subacute facilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline
- Develop and execute evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members to support comprehensive care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to regulatory standards using our electronic health records system
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment strategies accordingly
Qualifications & Requirements 📋
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program
- Active and unrestricted psychologist license in the state of application
- Proficiency in both English and Spanish (oral and written)
- Basic technology skills, including experience with EHR systems
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to compliance standards
- Ability to provide in-person services up to 45 minutes within assigned facilities
- Physical ability to walk, stand, and move between rooms throughout the day
- Full vaccination and booster (may be required at some facilities)
Preferred Qualifications 🌟
- Previous experience in geriatric, subacute, or long-term care settings
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders
- Background in psych, addictions, or related fields
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
