About Senior Care Therapy
Senior Care Therapy (SCT) is seeking full-time or part-time Licensed Psychologists to deliver in-person psychotherapy services to the geriatric population. We serve over 300 Skilled Nursing Facilities, including sub-acute, long-term care, and assisted living communities across NJ, NY, PA, and MD.
As a clinician-owned and operated company, SCT prides itself on providing supportive, patient-centered psychological services that enhance residents' mood, functioning, and overall quality of life. We collaborate closely with facility staff to optimize outcomes for residents and care teams. What We Provide

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions in skilled nursing and subacute facilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions such as depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, and cognitive decline
- Create and implement evidence-based, personalized treatment plans
- Collaborate with staff, interdisciplinary teams, and families to promote patient well-being
- Maintain accurate documentation using our clinician-designed Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system
- Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment strategies as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution
- Valid, unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in the state of application
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish — both oral and written
- Basic technological skills, including familiarity with EHR systems
- Strong organizational skills and regulatory compliance awareness
- Availability to provide in-person services within facilities (up to 45 minutes from your location)
- Ability to walk, stand, and move between rooms within the facility
- Full vaccination and booster status may be required in some facilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior clinical experience in geriatric or long-term care environments
- Experience treating anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders
- Additional experience in Psych or Addictions fields is a plus
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
