About the Role 📝
As a Bilingual Client Care Representative, you will be the first point of contact for members utilizing Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) provided by their employers. Your role involves supporting individuals through various mental health and personal challenges, requiring excellent communication skills, empathy, and problem-solving abilities.
Key Responsibilities 🎯
- Handle inbound clinical support calls for Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
- Assist members by providing guidance on available mental health resources like therapists and psychologists.
- Book and schedule appointments for clients.
- Respond to crisis calls, remaining calm and empathetic during emotionally distressing situations.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach, demonstrating empathy and active listening.
- Communicate fluently in both French and English, with superior verbal and written skills.
- Manage multiple screens and utilize your tech-savviness to efficiently handle approximately 30-50 calls daily.
- Leverage previous experience in dealing with distressed or vulnerable clients within Employee Assistance or similar settings.
Qualifications ✅
- Full professional proficiency in French and English (speaking, reading, writing).
- 1-2 years of recent customer service experience in fast-paced environments such as call centers, crisis intervention, emergency services, or mental health support.
- Proficiency with MS Office and internet browsers.
- Internet connection with a speed of at least 10 Mbps upload / 15 Mbps download (screenshot required).
- Valid work permit for Canada.
Contract Details & Compensation 💼
This is a 4-month renewable contract with competitive pay rates:
- Standard rate: $21/hr
- Shift Premiums:
- 8 PM - 11 PM: $23/hr
- Weekends: $23/hr
- Overnight (volunteer basis only): $24.30/hr
Work Environment & Schedule 🖥️
- Fully remote, work from home setup required (must have access to a reliable internet modem).
- Availability required Monday through Sunday, with shifts from 6:30 AM to 12:00 AM EST.
- Shift schedules are provided in advance; selection is not available.
- Training period: 3 weeks, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM EST.
