Objective

Caregivers operate both independently in clients’ homes and within healthcare facilities, providing essential personal care. You will assist clients with daily tasks such as:

• Performing basic domestic chores like cleaning
• Assisting with activities of daily living such as bathing and dressing
• Offering companionship and emotional support
• Transporting clients to appointments, errands, and activities

Job Description

• Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation 🎉
• Transport clients to and from appointments and activities
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, toileting, and hygiene
• Support transfers and ambulation
• Remind clients to take their medications
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with dementia care, Alzheimer's, and Parkinson's disease
• Strong empathy and the ability to cater to social, emotional, physical, and mental needs
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations 🚑
• Physical capability to reach, lift, or pull up to 50 pounds safely
• Occasional pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling to perform tasks
• Maintain physical strength and stamina throughout your shift

Salary Range: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

License & Certifications

• Current HCA (preferred)
• CPR Certification required
