Position: Caregiver - Garden Grove (Bilingual English/Cantonese preferred)

Objective

Caregivers can work independently in client homes or healthcare facilities, providing personalized care. You will travel to clients' residences to assist with basic domestic tasks like cleaning, activities of daily living such as bathing, and offering companionship and emotional support.

Job Description

• Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation 🧠
• Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, activities
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene 🚿👗
• Provide assistance with transfers & ambulation
• Offer medication reminders
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals 🍽️

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with dementia care; including Alzheimer's and Parkinson's
• Strong empathy and the ability to care for clients' social, emotional, physical, and mental needs 🧡
• Capability to respond effectively in emergency situations
• Physical ability to reach with hands and arms
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds safely while preventing injury during transfers or repositioning
• Occasional pushing/pulling of objects up to 50 pounds, bending/kneeling to complete tasks
• Maintain good physical strength and stamina

Salary Range

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

License & Certification

• Current HCA (preferred)
• CPR Certification
