Objective

As a caregiver, you will work independently in client homes or healthcare facilities, providing personal care to patients. Your role involves assisting with domestic tasks, activities of daily living, and offering companionship and emotional support.

Job Description

• Provide clients with companionship, socialization, and mental stimulation 😊
• Transport clients to and from appointments, errands, and activities 🚗
• Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and personal hygiene 🚿👚
• Assist with transfers and ambulation 🧍‍♂️🧍‍♀️
• Remind clients to take their medications 💊
• Prepare and cook nutritious meals 🍽️

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Experience with dementia care, including Alzheimer's and Parkinson’s
• Empathy and the ability to address social, emotional, physical, and mental needs ❤️
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations 🚨
• Physical capability to reach with hands and arms ✋
• Ability to lift, carry, or pull up to 50 pounds safely 🏋️‍♂️
• Ability to occasionally push/pull objects up to 50 pounds and bend/kneel to complete activities 🔄
• Physical strength and stamina for demanding tasks 💪

Salary Range

$18.00 - $20.00 per hour

License & Certifications

• Current HCA (Preferred) ✅
• CPR Certification 💓
