Compensation & Schedule 💰🕒

Pay is $17/hour, which may be below your state's minimum wage. Please consider this when applying.

Training Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, lasting 5-6 weeks.

Shifts: Availability between 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM on Monday and Thursday, and 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.

About the Role 📝

  • Serve as the initial contact for inquiries from NJ Family Care beneficiaries and community organizations related to the program.
  • Provide one-to-one telephone support to applicants, beneficiaries, and enrollees.
  • Document enrollment requests, status changes, complaints, and grievances accurately.
  • Enter application and enrollment data into a web-based system for telephone applications.
  • Maintain proficiency in NJ Family Care rules, guidelines, and related policies.
  • Offer clear, complete, and objective information based on comprehensive program knowledge.

Requirements ✅

  • Basic understanding of a call center environment and customer service quality processes.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving skills through analysis and feedback.
  • Committed to achieving results with empathy and knowledge.
  • Ability to work with diverse populations.
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Complete an internet speed test meeting minimum requirements.
  • Background and drug screening required.
