Position Overview

We are seeking a Bilingual Business Process Analyst to support the translation and formatting of UHC Benefit and transactional materials (primarily English to Spanish). The role involves document review, translation management, and collaboration with multiple Language Service Providers to ensure quality and timely delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage translation projects for marketing and member benefit materials in various languages and formats
  • Independently handle multiple tasks and projects with minimal supervision
  • Oversee project management activities, including receipt, review, translation, and delegation to Language Service Providers
  • Coordinate and obtain quotes for translation, formatting, and related services, evaluating risks before project approvals
  • Collaborate with requesters and vendors to meet project deliverables and requirements
  • Perform comprehensive reviews of translated files against source materials
  • Identify, flag, and work on linguistic, compliance, or formatting defects with vendors or in-house teams
  • Maintain accurate project tracking and documentation daily
  • Reconcile billing details, ensure accuracy, and flag inconsistencies with billing vendors
  • Support team operations through audits, reporting, and administrative tasks
  • Monitor and record project-related data, including time-study information
  • Assist in testing and implementing new translation technologies, including UAT
  • Provide training support for peers or new employees
  • Collaborate with team members and assist with additional duties as needed

Qualifications

Required

  • At least 2 years of professional experience managing tasks/projects to completion
  • Minimum 1 year of Project Management or Linguistic Services experience
  • Over 1 year of experience with healthcare or medical materials, including understanding of CMS compliance & PHI security
  • Fluent in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
  • Intermediate proficiency with Excel and Word
  • Experience as a contractor at UHG or its subsidiaries

Preferred

  • 1+ year of user acceptance or application testing experience
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet, Power BI, Power Automate, and other MS Office tools
  • Experience with material creation, translation, and UAT
  • Knowledge of healthcare documentation and benefit materials
  • Flexibility to work overtime during peak months (June-August, Nov-Dec)
  • Approachable, positive, and team-oriented attitude
  • Capacity to build strong relationships with clients, vendors, and leadership
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational and communication skills

Compensation & Benefits 💼

Salary ranges from $58,800 to $105,000 annually, based on full-time employment and various factors such as experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, incentive programs, stock options, and a 401(k) plan (eligibility requirements apply). Our benefits are designed to support your growth and well-being.
