Role Overview: Bilingual Business Development Representative (BDR)
As a Bilingual Business Development Representative at Toast, you'll focus on generating new sales opportunities in Mandarin for our Strategic Cuisines. Your efforts will help restaurant owners understand how Toast's all-in-one platform can transform their business, from operations to customer engagement. Daily activities include outreach via calls, emails, and social media, with growth opportunities for top performers.
🔥 What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Generate 2+ new business sales opportunities daily
- Complete 65+ outreach activities each day
- Research and prospect top and emerging restaurants in your territory
- Coordinate new business meetings with Territory Account Executives and Inside Sales Representatives
- Strategize with District Managers on new business priorities
💡 What You'll Need to Thrive (Requirements):
- Fluent in Mandarin Chinese and English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Strong work ethic and determination to succeed
- Highly coachable with a love for team collaboration
- Curious and resourceful
- Previous sales experience or a sales internship
- Availability to work in PST time zone

💰 Compensation Range by Zone:
- Zone A: $75,000 - $120,000 USD
- Zone B: $65,000 - $104,000 USD
- Zone C: $59,000 - $94,000 USD
Starting salaries are based on experience, skills, and location, with uncapped commissions available.
