Role Overview 🔍
The Associate Research Consultant manages a portfolio of commercial real estate contacts, ensuring data accuracy and completeness in CoStar’s database. The role involves building relationships through daily outreach—including interviews with brokers, property owners, and developers—to gather real-time market information.
The incumbent captures and verifies details of listings, transactions, property owners, and construction projects, updating the database with new developments. They also support clients in maximizing the use of CoStar’s platforms and provide high-quality customer service to facilitate informed decision-making.
This position follows a Monday–Friday in-office schedule.
Responsibilities 🎯
- Contribute to building an accurate and comprehensive database of commercial real estate inventory
- Make 50+ daily inbound and outbound calls to brokers, developers, investors, and other industry professionals for market data
- Research new listings, recent sales, leases, ownership, and construction activities
- Develop and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships
- Assist clients in positioning and marketing their properties via the CoStar platform
Basic Qualifications & Experience 🎓
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit university or college, with a minimum 3.0 GPA, in real estate, business, management, analytics, or related fields
- Track record of commitment to previous employers
- Flexible to work shifts aligned with EST, CST, MST, or PST time zones
- Professional or internship experience in customer service, real estate, or similar industry
- U.S. work authorization (permanent residency or equivalent)
- Fluency in both French and English, written and verbal

- Knowledge of or experience in the commercial real estate industry
- Proficiency with Excel (data manipulation, filtering, formulas)
- Accurate data entry and adaptability to changing situations
