About This Role 🏦
Wells Fargo is seeking an Associate Personal Banker (SAFE) to join our National Branch Network within the Consumer Banking and Lending division. To explore more about career areas and divisions, visit wellsfargojobs.com.
Key Responsibilities ✨
- Build relationships with customers through proactive outreach and deliver exceptional service.
- Assist with basic account requests, service inquiries, and credit application submissions.
- Operate within established policies and procedures, exercising judgment under managerial guidance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of bank products and services to effectively connect with customer needs.
- Interact with customers to demonstrate care, build trust, and identify opportunities for financial solutions.
- Recommend appropriate banking products and services, referring complex needs to specialized team members.
- Meet compliance requirements related to the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and Regulation Z (LO). Ongoing employment depends on fulfilling these standards.
Required Qualifications ✅
- 6+ months of customer interaction experience through work, training, military, or education.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English, both speaking and listening.

- Strong customer service ethos, handling complex transactions across multiple systems.
- Proactive engagement with customers via phone or email.
- Ability to educate customers on digital banking options and technology.
- Experience collaborating with team members to meet customer needs.
- Ability to foster and develop lasting customer relationships and internal partnerships.
- Knowledge of policies, regulations, and ability to identify potential fraud or risky accounts.
- Military experience related to protocol, benefits management, personnel processing, or leadership.
- Proficiency in sourcing and maintaining customer relationships, resolving concerns professionally.
Job Expectations 🚦
- Availability to work a schedule that includes most Saturdays.
- Must pass a language proficiency assessment.
- Maintain cash drawer accuracy, handle transactions, and complete service tasks.
- Complete SAFE registration post-employment via the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
- This position does not provide Visa sponsorship.
Compensation & Benefits 💰
The offered base pay range for this role is $26.00 - $34.00 per hour, with eligibility for incentive opportunities based on performance and location.
