The Role: Assistant Program Manager (APM)

The Assistant Program Manager plays a vital role in supporting service delivery for Regional Center consumers by co-leading branch operations alongside the Program Manager or Director. This hybrid position requires coming into our Los Angeles office once a week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Co-lead branch operations: Collaborate with the Program Manager/Director to meet admissions and service goals.
  • Support team development: Train staff on intakes, quality assurance, problem resolution, and service delivery.
  • Staffing oversight: Ensure providers are scheduled properly and address escalated issues involving consumers and providers.
  • Monitoring & Reporting: Track service utilization, prepare reports, and provide insights to promote compliance and efficient resource use.
  • Project & Process Management: Assist with office projects, process improvements, and sales/marketing initiatives alongside leadership.
  • Recordkeeping: Maintain accurate, compliant consumer and employee records using platforms like Salesforce and RingCentral.
  • Compliance & Leadership: Serve as the office lead during leadership absences, ensuring adherence to Regional Center, Title 17, HIPAA, and company policies.

  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in fast-paced environments
  • Effective planning, organizing, and prioritizing of multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Analytical skills to interpret data and assess project cost-benefit impacts
  • Attention to detail and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
  • Time management skills to meet deadlines and juggle priorities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and other case management/reporting platforms

Qualifications

  • Fluent in Spanish (required)
  • Minimum of 1 year management experience in healthcare or related fields
  • Experience leading teams and training staff
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable transportation and availability outside normal hours for emergencies or staff support

The expected California Pay Range for this position is $63,898 USD - $71,089 USD.
