Bilingual Arabic/English Case Manager
Reports to: DV Program Manager
About the Role
The Bilingual Case Manager provides high-quality, survivor-centered, trauma-informed case management for domestic violence survivors and their children. The goal is to support short-term stability and empower participants toward a self-sufficient and empowered life. This role involves advocating for system change, building connections to community resources, and working within a framework of cultural competence, social, and economic justice. 💙
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess needs: Conduct comprehensive safety and stability assessments.
- Safety Planning: Develop and implement individualized safety plans.
- Case Management: Create and execute detailed service plans that may include housing advocacy, financial planning, and resource connection for children (daycare, summer camps, etc.).
- Advocacy: Provide legal, medical, and employment-related advocacy, making necessary referrals.
- Housing Support: Assist participants in obtaining and maintaining safe, stable housing.
- Emotional Support & Education: Offer face-to-face and hotline support, including DV education and crisis intervention.
- Group Facilitation: Lead educational and support groups.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain up-to-date files, ensure data accuracy, and manage documentation within software systems.
- Coverage & Participation: Provide hotline, walk-in, and intake coverage as scheduled. Participate in supervision, staff meetings, and trainings.
- Organizational Culture: Foster a culture of accountability and ongoing skill-building.
- Additional Tasks: Perform other duties as assigned.

- Knowledge of community resources, especially in low-income areas
- Capacity to work independently and in team settings
- Understanding of culturally competent, strength-based strategies within an anti-racism, social, and economic justice framework
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work calmly under pressure
- Enthusiasm for working in a diverse, multilingual environment
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English/Arabic) required
- Bachelor’s Degree or Associate’s Degree with 3+ years relevant experience in the DV field preferred
- Minimum 2 years of case management or direct service experience in domestic violence
- Commitment to social justice and cultural competence, with an eagerness to learn more
- Experience working with and advocating for low-income families
- Group facilitation skills
- Strong crisis management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Greater Boston human services
- Proficient in written and oral communication
- Computer literacy, including database input, word processing, email, and internet use
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle access preferred
Work Details
Hours: 35 hours/week with some flexibility
Salary & Benefits: $50,000 - $55,000 annually, depending on experience
