Position Overview
The Analyst, PDC Operations – Investments supports the translation, development, and execution of capital investment proposals across the PDC network. This role involves RFQ analysis, supplier pricing review and negotiation, budget management, and invoice processing. You'll serve as a key communication link between MOBIS Parts America and Korea-based stakeholders, facilitating bi-directional updates on project status, supply reviews, and financial reporting.
The successful candidate ensures proposals, approvals, and execution activities align with organizational objectives and budgets. Additionally, the role encompasses project management, reporting, and supporting leadership, coordinators, and administrative teams through various project cycles and initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
🔹 PROCUREMENT (30%)
- Present capital investment business cases to senior managers 🎯
- Send RFQs to suppliers and monitor the bidding and award processes 📑
- Maintain labor, machine, and material cost accuracy 💰
- Oversee PDC supply inventory and procurement costs, selecting cost-effective vendors 🛍️
- Assist with negotiations and contracting for services and materials 🤝
- Manage supplier performance, participation in supplier selection, and monitor accessory part costs 📊
- Lead deal negotiations and structuring efforts 💼
- Act as a liaison with Korea-based teams, supporting communication related to investment proposals, RFQs, and vendor selection 🌐
- Translate and communicate operational requirements, timelines, and cost factors between MOBIS America and Korea 🗣️
- Support alignment of Korea investment expectations with US market conditions and benchmarks 🇰🇷🇺🇸
🔹 BUDGET CONTROL & INVOICE MANAGEMENT (15%)
- Review and monitor project budgets and expenditures 💼
- Assist with the annual capital investment planning process 📝
- Collaborate to address budget variances with procurement and project teams 🔍
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices 🧾
- Verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies 🔧
- Maintain detailed expense reports 📊
- Support financial administrators with budget creation and vendor payments 💵
- Analyze operational forecasts to maintain proper POs and financial standing 📆
- Assist Korea leadership with financial reports, variance explanations, and payment updates 💬
- Respond to ad-hoc financial inquiries from Korea regarding project spend and vendor performance 📞
🔹 PROJECT MANAGEMENT (15%)
- Support projects like equipment acquisition and facility upgrades 🏗️
- Break down project tasks, establish timelines, and evaluate risks/opportunities 📅
- Collaborate with stakeholders to clarify requirements, scope, and objectives 🎯
- Track project progress, troubleshoot issues, and communicate updates regularly 🛈
