🌟 About This Role
As a Bilingual Agent Support Associate (ASA), you will serve as a primary contact for Devoted Health’s Medicare Advantage broker partners. Your focus will be on delivering timely, accurate, and solutions-oriented support throughout the enrollment and post-enrollment processes, all while building strong relationships with brokers and agencies.
This position thrives in a high-volume, service-driven setting that demands excellent problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to navigate multiple systems seamlessly to drive resolutions.
🗓️ Day in the Life of an Agent Support Associate
🕒 Hours of Operation
- Monday–Friday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM ET
- During AEP (October 15th–December 7th): Open 7 days a week from 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM ET
- Schedules will align with these hours but are subject to change based on business needs
📋 Typical Daily Tasks
- Logging into the Agent Support queue to assist brokers via phone and agent portal messages
- Researching application statuses, enrollment details, or post-enrollment issues
- Partnering with internal teams to resolve complex broker or member situations
- Documenting interactions clearly to ensure continuity and compliance
- Identifying trends or recurring issues to escalate opportunities for process improvements
- Adjusting focus based on volume, seasonal demand, or priority initiatives
- During peak times like AEP and OEP, the pace increases, emphasizing the importance of flexibility, focus, and teamwork 🚀
🔍 Role Overview
- Answer Broker Inquiries: Handle inbound calls and portal messages related to Devoted Health plans, benefits, and processes.
- Support Enrollment & Application Status: Assist brokers with application submissions, status checks, and enrollment questions for smooth transactions.
- Resolve Post-Enrolment Issues: Support brokers with effective dates, plan changes, eligibility questions, and escalations.
- Build Trust: Provide high-quality, consistent service to reinforce Devoted’s commitment to brokers and members.
🎯 Your Responsibilities & Impact
- Build a comprehensive understanding of Devoted Health’s plan benefits and offerings
- Navigate provider networks, including healthcare providers and facilities
- Understand Medicare Advantage enrollment processes and timelines
- Gain knowledge of broker compensation and commission procedures
- Handle inbound communications while maintaining high service standards
- Investigate and resolve broker issues utilizing multiple systems and resources
- Collaborate with teams such as Enrollment, Contracting, Member Services, and Compliance
- Identify and escalate recurring issues to improve processes
- Build strong relationships within the broker community
- Support seasonal initiatives and special projects alongside various teams
🧠 Skills & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in healthcare or related field
- 2+ years of customer support or service experience
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-changing environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Desired
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish skills strongly preferred
- Experience working with external partners or clients in a busy setting
- Healthcare operations or Medicare Advantage experience preferred
- Proficiency in data entry and navigating multiple systems
- Self-motivated with ability to work independently and collaboratively
💰 Compensation & Benefits
Salary Range: $24–$27 per hour 💵
The listed range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting. During the interview process, additional details about compensation and our comprehensive rewards package will be provided. The final offer will depend on factors like experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
