Your Responsibilities
- 📞 Proactively contact and assist new and existing clients via phone and digital channels, offering holistic financial advice.
- 🔍 Identify client needs and tailor investment and insurance solutions that align with their goals.
- 💰 Help clients prepare for retirement through strategic planning tools.
- ⚖ Conduct risk assessments and recommend suitable investment profiles.
- 🤝 Collaborate closely with the Branch Manager and support teams to stay up-to-date on products and regulations.
- 📝 Maintain active registration and licensing across Canadian provinces.
- 💡 Contribute to ongoing team improvements to elevate the client experience and refine our service offerings.
- 🌟 Foster a work environment that values creativity, accountability, and employee engagement.
What You Need to Succeed
- 🎓 Bachelor's degree or 2+ years relevant experience
- 💼 Proven sales and service experience, preferably in mutual funds
- 📈 Strong knowledge and passion for retail investment products
- 📞 Experience conducting business over the phone
- 🔍 Deep understanding of mutual fund industry, compliance, and dealer operations
- 🕗 Availability Monday to Friday, 8 am to 8 pm (variable schedule)
- 🗣 Bilingual proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written
Required Licensing & Assets
- ✅ Active Mutual Fund License (CIRO) or completed courses (IFIC or CSC certification)
- 🌟 Assets that are a plus:
- CFP/Fin. Pl. designation
- Experience in call center or outbound telephone servicing
- Proficiency in Salesforce.com and digital client engagement tools
Compensation & Additional Details
The role offers a base compensation typically ranging between $60,000 and $62,000 annually, with potential incentives based on individual and company performance.
Note: Salary ranges may vary depending on location and other factors. Incentive plans are discretionary and linked to performance metrics.
