This contract-to-permanent role offers an exciting opportunity to support legal professionals while developing essential administrative skills in a dynamic environment. ⚖️
📝 Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, paralegals, and office staff.
- Draft, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports.
- Manage calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings and court dates.
- Answer, screen, and direct phone calls; greet and assist clients and visitors.
- Maintain and organize case files, both electronic and physical, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies as required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and email communications.
- Perform general office duties including photocopying and scanning.
🎓 Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree.
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a secretary, administrative assistant, or in a legal office setting.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish required (oral and written).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism.
