Join our team as a Bilingual Production Assistant and play a vital role in supporting the loan closing process. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues alike.

Position Overview

The Bilingual Production Assistant will provide onsite support at our Trumbull, CT Branch, ensuring the timely closing of loan files through communication with operations staff and customers. The ideal candidate must be fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 📄 Request disclosures
• 🔑 Open escrow, collect fees, and order preliminary title reports
• 🏦 Order appraisals
• 📝 Collect and review client documentation
• 💼 Review income analysis provided by the Loan Officer
• 🖥 Submit loan documentation to processing (Submission form, Intent to proceed, LDP/GSA, Net Tangible)
• 🎯 Gather Loan Agent PTD and PTF conditions
• 🚀 Submit requests for Rapid Rescores

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• 🇪🇸 Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English
• 🕑 2+ years of experience in the mortgage industry preferred (training available for strong administrative professionals)
• 📖 Familiarity with mortgage terminology
• 🎓 Active NMLS license preferred but not required
• 💻 Experience with Point software preferred
• 📝 Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
• 🗣 Excellent written and oral communication skills
• ⚡ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• 🔒 High level of integrity and confidentiality

Physical and Environmental Conditions

This role operates within an ADA-compliant office environment, utilizing standard office equipment and performing typical tasks such as computer work. The position may involve stationary periods and movement throughout the day. Flexibility to work overtime to meet deadlines is required.

Compensation

CMG offers a competitive base salary ranging from $50,000 to $65,000 plus per-file bonuses. Salary depends on experience, knowledge, and skills, with those without mortgage experience starting at the lower end.
