Position Summary

This role involves the administration of various employee benefits, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and policies. You'll be the primary point of contact for employee inquiries, processing forms, and managing vendor payments.

Job Details

  • Location: 100% remote, anywhere in the US 🏡
  • Salary Range: $28-$30/hr 💵

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries 🤝
  • Assist with processing all Leave of Absences (LOAs) 📝
  • Manage benefit-related updates in HRIS systems for new hires, rehires, life events, terminations, and open enrollment 🖥️
  • Complete and process legally required documents such as NMSNs and QMCSOs 📄
  • Support administration of time-off plans
  • Reconcile and complete monthly vendor invoice payments 💳

Knowledge, Skills & Competencies

  • Experience with benefit administration: medical, dental, vision, life, STD, LTD 🩺
  • Proficiency in processing leaves of absence 🌴
  • Understanding of laws and compliance: COBRA, FMLA, ACA, HIPAA ⚖️
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills 🗣️
  • Strong attention to detail 🔍
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize 📅

Experience & Education Requirements

  • Fluency in Spanish is REQUIRED 🗣️
  • 1-2 years of benefit or HR administration experience 🎓
  • Experience processing LOAs 📝
  • Workday platform experience 💼

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience 🎓
  • CEBS certification preferred
